neskromanser: Hello guys. First, let me clarify what I meant in the title. I did not make a mistake, I do mean singleplayer hotseat. What I mean by that is: playing a singleplayer game with a friend, taking turns playing the game or dividing parts of the game between the two players. Let me list two examples:
1) The simple variant: I played and completed Need for Speed Carbon with my friend, we took turns, one of us raced, and finished, then the other player. So, just taking turns.
2) The slightly more profound variant: With my friend, I played and completed Rome Total War. My friend was managing the empire, while I was fighting the tactical battles.
With that clarified, I would like you guys to post suggestions of games, no genre specified, which you think are great to play with a friend.
Pretty much any of the Grand Theft Auto games. This is how my friends and I played
(though the fun we got from this was greatly diminished by then). We mostly just screwed around, though -- one person plays till they die/get arrested/get bored, then they pass the controller. But one could just as easily play through the actual story missions in this way.
