My grandfather is 90 years old, and his ancient computer just died. He had Windows 98 on it and used it only to play solitaire, mahjong, etc. The family got him a new Windows 7 computer and asked me to put games on it. The problem is I couldn't find any simple card or board games that weren't filled with ads, buttons for downloads, or some allegedly epic fantasy story about anime girls. He just wants plain cards. Even the games that come standard with Windows constantly flash ads or try to open a webpage. He does not have an internet connection, and he does not have the computer skills to learn linux or use dos box. He is suspicious of ads and will refuse to play games with them, thinking they are trying to scam him. I will have to buy the games and download them myself or give him a boxed edition. Any suggestions?
