When multiple votes have been placed on a person, it's called a "wagon being formed". Think of it like a wagon train, once the wagon train is long enough a lynch happens (Has to be a majority of people left alive)

So, this is my first game. I've read some links and watched some of an old game here about appliances, so I think I have the basics down. The theme here is that we're all on a game show, so do we roleplay? Should I post like myself, or a character I make up?

If this is a reality show, I'm thinking maybe a Jersey Shore type? I could be "The Event", and tell you all how I'M gonna go home with the million bucks.

Play it how you want, as long as you have fun. I will say that I don't think I've seen anyone else roleplay before in the game, but that does not mean you can't give it a try :)

Generally, no, don't role play in-game. It sounds like tons of fun but there's no way to police it and you'll end up by yourself.

If I were you, I would read over a couple of full games, and pronto. It's very tough to have a cold start in this game if you haven't followed along in real-time before. Any of the last 3-4 games should be OK to give you a good idea.

For example let's say someone started out portraying themselves as a pirate and continued it the whole way through I would see nothing wrong with it. Could be interesting and fun I would say.

For a first game I wouldn't recommend any kind of advanced tactic like that, lol.

Yes, make sure to copy Bookwyrm in game 28, or Adalia from game 29. Either is a recipe for grand success!

I used an accent for all of an 'our last game. It was too 'ard to keep up and it almost got me lynched. ;)

You'll get some protection against basic mistakes (or lurking) as a first-timer both from lynch and from night kills, but that might only last you the first day or two. Mostly just make sure not to do what you did in this post of editing or double-posting so it shows as an edit.

You won't really learn much if you get yourself mod-killed on the first day ;)
