I don't have Tampermonkey right now, but the gist of it is sorta like this: open Tampermonkey, find a plus sign, add a script, and copy the contents in that link (the code stuff) and save your script. Then reload the forums. You'll get stuff like improved search (useful for Mafia), quick replies, and a handy box to write your post in without popups or anything.

The most useful feature of the in-page textarea is the fact that you can quote cherry-picked paragraphs from multiple posts which is nearly impossible in the pop-up. And you're going to need that for the game. Each time you click the "Quick reply" button on a post it will automatically append the contents of that post to whatever content you might already have and you can manually cut out the irrelevant part of it to form a target quote to comment under.

Another addon I can't recommend enough (if you're using Chrome or compatibles) is Typio Form Recovery. There will be times when you write and write and write only to jump back or refresh by accident or whatever resulting in you losing tons of content that you can't force yourself to write again. That addon is a lifesaver in the context of this absurd forum software.

No worries....your health/well being should comes first, after all. :)

Sounds like a plan...make the "days" a bit shorter......though of course not too short, else it might interfere with some player's IRL schedules.

Agreed, it is possible without the extension, but dang is it tedious.

Another method is to use ctrl-c to keep it saved to clipboard, and also to maybe keep a text file open so you can dump a copy there as well(if it gets really big).

That works until you forget to do it. Or if there is a power outage or your computer just crashes. The point is the add-on is doing it's job seamlessly on the background for you so whatever happens that doesn't destroy the general functionality of your computer, you will always be able to restore pretty much everything you lost. At worst you'll have to recreate your last couple of words. Anyway, if you prefer copy-pasting knock yourself out.

A while back there was another one called Lazarus which worked both on Chrome and Firefox and it was fantastic but eventually they stopped supporting it and it stopped working. Typio is the next best thing even though it's not as good.

Eh, it's mainly that I don't often see the need to use new ways/things when old ways/things work well enough.
(plus I save pretty often as I type, so there's little worry i'll lose much)

But if such help others, and are easier, then the more options the merrier.
