I'm going with there's a curse on the game. Besides my dryer (laundry kind), I just had my garage door opener break yesterday. Fortunately, nobody got hurt, and we got someone to come out yesterday as an emergency. The garage door itself is super heavy to the extent that even with the opener broken, only the Hulk would be able to easily lift it.

Also an EF1 tornado hit my state over the weekend. People in my state are trained from childhood for earthquakes. We flat out don't know what to do with tornadoes except to get really upset afterwards and treat it like an attack on the state as a whole... so even though it wasn't near me, I'm going to say it's the mafia curse.

Still not sure how the observer thread works. I kinda imagined - you are told the role of each player & what action non-vanilla powers performed during the night.
But during the last game Sage was an observer - and she could just observe the dead-chat.

There are neither nights or even dead in this setup...

But am still kinda interested. :S
So, yeah, I would like to observe.

Well, usually the observer chat is just that: a secret chat, where non players can discuss the game and share their theories, trying to work out who is who.

However, discussing the game is only meaningful, if there are several observers. So this tradition comes from a time when we had more active games and more spectators and it became necessary to avoid discussion of the game openly in the forum. Because those would be discussions that the players could read, thereby getting input from minds outside of the game.

So, if you want, I can give you more information in the observer chat, so that you can watch from an advantageous position. Then you could also act as a Co-mod, alerting me if I miss anything that needs mod attention

Alternatively you can observe without additional information and stay available as possible replacement. Because as soon as you have inside info, you won't be able to play in this game anymore.
