you can zoom into any browser window. On mac you'd just press cmd and the + sign and on windows I'd guess it's ctrl and + sign. (conversely the - sign the zoom out again if you overdid it :)

Hmm, last time we played ONE CHRISTMAS AGO (yes that long ago) I think ChatGPT was a thing and was about to get prevalent. No worries, none of the flavor in that game is generated by AI since I wrote all of it myself.

I can't comment about ChatGPT and other Forum Mafias, but I can say nothing has changed around here. Besides, I doubt ChatGPT is able to even begin to comprehend the nuances a typical Forum Mafia game has, but maybe I don't know any better.

I'm glad that we got some players together after all. And quicker than expected.

What about schedule? I would suggest starting not until after Christmas, since many people will be busy until the Holidays. Or what do you think? Start after Christmas? After New Year? Or as soon as yogs becomes available?

I say the sooner we start it, the better. We'd wait for yogs of course, but the idea is if we start it early, suuuuure, we'll take the Christmas Vacation and then be right back into the game. But that's better than delaying this game any longer and further ruining our chances of having another game, right? Right?

I'm not available on the following days:

Doctor Appointments - December 12th & 17th
Christmas - December 24th & 25th
Mom's Birthday - December 31st

Also on January 1st, we watch the Rose Parade. I'm not sure who watches it besides fans of college football and people that live in California. Since I'm in the latter group, yes it is a thing we do here even as people that don't watch any US football. I won't get online until afterwards.

supplementscene said there's a sign-up thread, given that he's a notorious (mafia) liar and should be offed with no hesitation whatsoever, I came to see for myself. What do you know, he was telling the truth after all... ok then, perhaps spare him until the game actually starts.

Quite a few faces from a distant mafia-past (*reminisces for a bit*)... I'm tempted... but I'm in a pickle:
-- I had an accident (actually two, four days apart) about a month ago, and have injured both legs pretty badly (on sick leave till the 13th), and still can't sit at my desk for longer periods of time;
-- once I get back to work (though I'm looking to switch jobs, which won't be until sometime in January), I won't have the energy to play.

So the sane thing for me, unfortunately, is to abstain. Perhaps next year.

I will, however, vote mchack for feigning uncertainty about the rules, plus being suspiciously helpful; we all know that those are unmistaken signs of being a baddy, right? Right?!

So I'm in the habit of playing while lying on the sofa, maybe that could help. :)
And the job switching is only by January. You might already be lynched by then, so no reason not to join.

You know what. I was reading your post and saw your comment that taking my mom to the ER didn't count as my obligatory pre-game accident.... and that's when my dryer started making this BOOM BOOM BOOM sound. After calling support for my dryer, which is a bunch of years old, I found out that it's beyond the point where they can even repair it. I had to give up on that reply until now because I had to leave the house to go buy myself a new dryer.

TL;DR - Yes, I am saying that Atlo used voodoo magic on me and cursed my dryer.

Cursing someone's dryer, especially in winter, is a total SUS move so...
