Breja: I loved that show. I'm a huge Bruce Campbell fan, and that was some of his best work. Seeing how good he's doing with the Evil Dead revival I'd love to see more of Brisco County.

drealmer7: Have you seen Jack of All Trades?
Sure did. It's a lot of goofy fun, but far from Campbell's best work. Not nearly as good as Brisco County. Bubba Ho-Tep was great. It was quite amazing how something so stupid (going just be the description of the movie) could turn out to be so good.

I have yet to watch either Jack of All Trades or Brisco County Jr., but they're high on my to-watch list. I enjoyed Bubba Ho-Tep okay but just okay, I thought it could have been so much more.

I walked past Bruce at a comi-con a few times but his line was sooo frikken long and so I just looked at him a little rather than waited around to meet him. (I did get my picture taken with William Shatner and Patrick Stewart together though, with my partner.)

The vibe I got from Bruce was actually not good, but that could have been for any number of reasons.

I never quite got Buffy. Some episodes were fun but I just didn't understand the fuss people made over it.

Heavy on the archetypes. Tends to draw people in.

Like Bioware you say?

I watched Angel way back and loved it for the couple of random seasons I watched it, then I just sort of completely forgot all about it. I barely remember any of it now.
Shall I come across as needlessly poorly if I say: please, priorities!

Firefly season 2!

Another Firefly fan, really?

I should not spoil it, by expressing how happy I am to know it might be so.... But ... I am. ;-)

Only I say - Buffy is super cool to her fans, one of which I am not, but that is surely fine. This is not about Buffy vs Firefly, I really think.

Only - Firefly season 2 anyone?!
Would steal and defacate in the Stanley Cup for another season of Firefly.
At the end of the day, I would just like another Joss Whedon TV show to watch. Whether it's set in the Buffyverse, the Fireflyverse or an entirely new verse. Although he directed and co-wrote the pilot episode of AGENTS OF SHIELD, he's not in charge of the creative direction of the show. His brother Jed and sister-in-law Maurissa are the showrunners.

Say an Icelander? (Whom us Finns quite admire, only we cannot afford to come, often, to shame ourselves, possibly)

Would you lease Fenris into an insurance-envelope, meanwhile?

Sorry, Barry_Woodward. I feel poorly, because you are a Buffy fan really, right? As I root for Firefly.

Generally, I rather love Josh Wheldon. Firefly, Battle Star Galactica; Buffy etc.

Not a Buffy fan, specifically, but I do get the point. :-) Only, Buffy had already a number of seasons, and now Firefly fans hanker for almost the same.
I would say that Buffy played probably a bit too long.

Now firefly? That would be Shiny.
What about a Buffyverse / Firefly crossover? What if it turns out River is a vampire slayer?

For anyone here who might be interested, the current Humble Comics Bundle is for Buffy, Angel, and Spike comics. I don't know if it's all of them, but thought it was worth sharing.
