Lumberjack76: I feel sorry for the devs that crunched so hard.
This again.

Why do you feel that? Let me ask you this: Do you even work, and have you actually worked overtime before?

This isn't happening in America where they have little to no say in forced overtime and no paid overtime, like Epics developers f.ex. In EU workers actually have more say and paid overtime +bonuses especially working on weekends/holidays. So no, don't fell bad for them about that.

However, do feel bad for them because of how the upper management/CEOs mishandled this into a PR nightmare. Personally though, this isn't grounds enough to boycott CDPR yet. There have been games that have been more broken and yet turned into good games after awhile. Actions are louder than words.

And yes, CD Project Red and CD Project Blue are not the same company.
Stay a while and listen.

Lumberjack76: loss of my library
As other have said, the beauty of DRM-free is that is no "loss of library".

If you download the offline installers and back them up properly, there is no loss. You walk away and keep what you have. Like when you found out your favourite brick and mortar store is somebody you don't want to support any more.

The problem with GOG is, how much I criticise their decisions, they're to only place offering that option at all on a larger scale. Which in turn, deserves support. *shrug*

Lumberjack76: HI there,
I'm very sad and also furious how cdpr handled the cp2077 release. Their reputation is in ashes and they deserve the backlash. I feel sorry for the devs that crunched so hard. But now I've reached a point that I question myself if it's worth to stay on gog. Or should I just delete my account and take the loss of my library as a final gift. I already decided that I won't be buying games here anymore. But maybe I'm unreasonable idk I just feel betrayed by my best friend.
I mean, they sold out to China. I dunno how much worse it could be honestly. I'll never give GOG another dime...

But you do you.

Your problem has a name, and its "expectations".

Don't expect anything and take what you need for proper.

Also, declaring a corporation as a "friend".. I guess, you have seen the Arasaka CP ending? Suicide ending wasn't the best also.
