227: Pretty sure this happens in the original Red Faction.
I don't remember.. I do remember them being hilarious if you stick a bomb on them.
Well I don't remember exactly if you disarm enemies in Punisher, but they sure cry a lot when I slam their head in the toilet, in the coffin, and generally when I torture them for information. I need to play that game again :D

They scream "mercy, please", but they don't really surrender. They simply run away, then start shooting again when they reach a better position.
Oh right, the Halo games? Don't at least those small fellows sometimes freak out and start running around? I can't tell what they are shouting while they flail their hands, are they begging for mercy or throwing expletives at you?

I was thinking the same thing too, those Ultor bastards.

Yeah, the Covenant Grunts. They're usually the ones who freak out and start running around with their arms flailing, but in the later levels they're actually decent fighters (particularly the ones with the Needlers).
In Perfect Dark on N64 you can shoot the gun from an enemy's hands and they will ask you not to shoot and try to surrender. Then they would try and pick it up and murder you in the back.
Shadow Warrior? Can't actually remember as there is so much screaming and yelling going on there might be begging involved. Although its hard to speak with a katana in your mouth.
Shadow Warrior Remake. Especially when they get limbs cut off, and crawl towards you, begging to finish them off...

Then, postal 2, i think, if memory serves...?

Crosmando: Soldier of Fortune and Rise of the Triad, but is there any others?

Also related, are there any shooters/action games where enemies can surrender during fights and you can execute them or not?
Wow you call yourselves PC gamers yet not one mention of Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield? Where sometimes the enemy just drops is gun, kneels, and puts his hands on his head.

Man that game is underrated and deserves to be here on GOG.

Crispy78: In SWAT3 the bad guys can be made to drop their weapons and surrender if you overwhelm them sufficiently.
Well close enought to Rainbow Six 3.

viperfdl: In Metro Last Light Redux there are occasions in that someone surrenders but they seem scripted.
I always shot them in the head because I wasn't sure if they would pick up their weapons and start firing at me when I walked away.

Especially via pistol whipping with their own weapon.

I'm not really a fan of "realistic" games where there's no element of science-fiction or fantasy, they're just boring. The exception might be Jagged Alliance 2, though that has sci-fi mode if I recall.

Swat 4? No one mentioned Swat 4?

Shout `You`re under arrest!" and they sometimes drop their weapons and put their hands up, then you cuff `em. But be careful, sometimes they change their mind and decided to have a go! Love that game.

Pity it`s not on GOG yet.

p.s. I wish more games had people surrender or beg for mercy, but whiny kids whined it away so you almost never see it in modern games any more. Enemies just run to their deaths all the time, regardless of how out numbered they are or tough you are.
