The Linux port of Original Sin has been delayed.

I wasn't a backer, but I did buy it based on the promise of a Linux port. Back when I bought it, they were still claiming they would release it before the end of 2014. They kind of missed that mark....

This news item is about the Enhanced Edition - which was not planned to be released in 2014

I guess I should clarify. I bought original sin when they were still claiming that they would be releasing the Linux port before the end of 2014. They still haven't released the Linux port, enhanced or otherwise.
They're terrible people.

They definitely appear to be terrible Linux developers.

It's not old news - it's news from today. Although, I understand if you're confused that the delayed-delayed-enhanced-delayed-delayed release is delayed again.

No, I mean its nothing new that its another delay. Its just another Larian delay smoke screen.
ugh , while i love larian and their recent releases including DOS i kinda feel bad for the linux users right now and totally understand they feel kinda "robbed"
TBH. I don't really care that much if they postponed it. I am already appreciated that the fact more and more games is released for Linux.

Which used to be so very rare.

More games ---> More user
More user ----> More feedback
More feedback ----> More ideas
More ideas -----> More improvement
More Improvement ----> Much much more stable updates/releases.

am happy for linux users.

Yes, they are. I knew that since the ending of Divinity 2 (Ego Draconis).
That sucks. I was hoping it would be complete some time soon. Ah well, I guess I still have to get around to finishing Pillars of Eternity first anyway...
Delayed or not, there's one thing to keep in mind - They are going to deliver after all. Some other devs have cancelled their Linux ports, where others didn't bother with it at all. So for all it's worth I respect Larian for their effort.

The Mac and Linux versions have finally been released... on Steam, for the time being. Now the ball is on GOG's court.

It would be a nice christmas-gift to the Gnuers/Linuxers/ however you call them if it could also be up here today...
