A good number of signatories here on the GOG Community Wishlist for some truly fantastic classic games. Sadly, Shivers 1 is impossible to play on a modern 64-bit system, and Shivers 2 is prone to many errors as well.

What's it gonna take to get these games, GOG?
Oh gosh, then I'm glad I played Shivers 1 before switching to x64.
It's quite a cool adventure-horror game (except for a few insane puzzles, like the Chinese Checkers one).
It should really be here on Gog.

It's pretty tragic, it was built for a x16 OS, ha.

Chinese Checkers, to this day, remains the most difficult video game puzzle I have ever solved. There are several in Shivers that are up there, though...
I believe the first one was Windows 3.1, so the chances of it coming here are slim, it won't run on 64bit machines and there's no emulator for older Windows versions afaik.

All you need is Dosbox (and an older Windows of course)

Yeah doubt gog would be able to get the rights to both the game and the windows 3.1 to get the game here.
Maybe ScummVM will support them eventually.

I have a Windows 10 64-bit machine and Shivers-1 plays without any problem whatsoever. Shivers-2 runs as well, but at games end it ask for CD 2 to be inserted and hangs there. That problem is related to Shivers-2 version 1 and reportably has been corrected in Vers-2. Both games are running through DOSBox.
Shivers was removed from Steam a couple of years ago, not sure why.
