It's a nice game. For anyone who knows and likes Doyle's books, there is also a lot of books' atmosphere in there, as far as I remember.

I always check this one out but end up passing because 1) I'm not a "huge" adventure / PnC gamer and 2) it's always during a sale and I end up picking up a game or two I "really" want. But this one always looks really good to me (detective point and clicks always seem like the best use of the genre to me).

So, what's the joke?

Holmes and Watson are away on a case, and they check into a small hostelry together for the night. As is their usual habit, they prepare for an evening of friendly buttsecks, but they realize they've left the lube back at 221b.

'Never fear', says Holmes. 'Go downstairs and ask the landlady for a jar of lemon curd'

'Lemon curd?' says Watson. 'What are you going to do with that?'

'A lemon entry, my dear Watson'

I always wanted to start the adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but punctually I always had to give up because I gave priority to other games. In this case there is also Lovecraft, so it's definitely a good starting point!
