AlphaOmegaSin: When heavy-metal meets gaming. Good channel about gaming nostalgia, news stories, etc.

AngryCentaurGaming: Early unbiased reviews of new games, and gameplay footage. Lots of PC gaming and beta stuff too.

Cinemassacre (AVGN): Everyone should know this one by now. Comedic reviews on terrible old games, horror movie nostalgia and other fun stuff.

: Full length playthroughs and detailed reviews. Just an overall good gaming channel. Also see [url=https://www.youtube.com/user/THEKINGOFHATEVLOGS]TheKingOfHateVlogs.

HappyConsoleGamer: Great channel with lots of nostalgia, stories, anime and overall good times in gaming.

ReviewTechUSA: Lots of gaming gossip, and a bit of nostalgia and funny stories.

Seriously, you like DSP?

My tastes are more...goony.

As in the majority of people I'm subscribed to have some connection or are outright members of Something Awful.

Let's see, there is:

Accursed Farms: Whom you may know from THE Freeman's Mind series, and a few other smaller things.

Ashens: Snarky brit who reviews tat. Made a movie.

ChipCheezum and Ironicus. A duo of hilarity having played the GOOD Metal Gear games with a degree of competency that make them look like olympic gods compared to DSP. (Also they took the piss out of DSP on their old channel.)

Hey everybody, it's ChuggaaConroy! Here today, on describe the channel, you have an enthusiastic giant of let's play! Literally! He's 6 feet tall!

Hey La-Mulanites, It's DeceasedCrab! Welcome to one of the first Youtube Let's play channels! Sadly, he's not very active these days, but give the guy a break. He was at it for 8 years.

Diabetus is one of the grandfather's of Modren Let's Play. He's the funny one.

Kikoskia is a rather genuine let's player, none of the moments he has are really orchestrated, and that's a refreshing change from some of the over the top things you encounter.

Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen, and Welcome to the channel of Far Lands or Bust! This is the channel of Kurtjmac and he's walking to the edge of minecraft for charity! Also, he plays other games.

I think that's a good start.
Top Hats & Champagne - Madness, Booze and Monkey Island.
I don't watch gaming videos regularly and when I do, most of the time I choose a random video - they're just a tool for me for when I'm looking for a specific game, in conjunction with the written reviews. That been said, I watched some Angry Joe's videos but not for the actual review rather that the funny way he acted (sometimes). That doesn't make me a fan of him though.

If I would choose one channel though, my pick would be one channel that there isn't someone who comments on top of the video. Can't remember the name right now. :P
Here are some Pokemon related ones that I watch (note the lack of audio commentary, since I actually prefer to hear the game audio):

Crystal_: Posts a lot about glitches, including some that are rather minor (I think this is the channel where I saw the division by zero video).

ChickasaurusGL: Similar to the previous one.

SatoMew: Posts about some of the more obscure aspects of the games, including things like unused content in the game.

TheZZAZZGlitch: Posts about some major glitches, including arbitrary code execution.

Not Pokemon related, but Drpg 4ever posts videos of first person dungeon crawlers, some of which are rather obscure, many of which are Japan only.
Markiplier, CinnamonToastKen, and Jesse Cox. All are hilarious, and their playthroughs are always enjoyable due to their attitudes and humor.
When I first read the thread's title I thought "this should be easy"... but then I realized I'm barely subscribed to gaming channels. However, I do have three I can highly recommend:

Lazy Game Reviews
Opinionated reviews, commentary, and snark on games and more. Retro PC games, The Sims, Oddware, thrifting!
(his own words)

Super Bunnyhop
He does detailed analysis and reviews, also other gaming related ones like Kojima vs. Konami: An Investigation, Satoru Iwata's Life Story and Mod Monetization Madness.

smudboy
This channel is not for everyone!
I'd only recommend this one if you're interested in game writing and analyses.

Completecookie... I mean err... Totalbiscuit! He does some pretty informative first impressions (some people still think he does reviews :/) and I very much prefer him over that Livid Larenzo guy.

GeneralLotz: he is very entertaining reviewer and his videos have a certain charm to them. The latest reviews of his shows that he still has it!

videogamedunkey: no explanation needed

LGR:High quality reviews!... Although I much prefer his retro reviews to his never ending onslaught of Sims stuff.
Not been on youtube in couple of years, but...

SuperBunnyHop & AlphaOmegaSin get my vote too.

Also SeaNanners cab be quite funny, whether trolling his mates or....erm, well that`s about all he does, but quite funny.

TotalBiscuit (there`s an Imp in Wizard Wars, called MiniBiscuit lol) & Boogie2988 (but not his Francis clips) I used to like too.

More for the Guild Wars nerds here, but WoodenPotatoes used to do some really good Lore clips.

Almost forgot. OddyseyGamez good too, for some mass Terraria pvp game modes. Also PsiSyndicate.

I like Force and SplatterCat (Force goes by Force Gaming now).
I don't subscribe to channels normally, and certainly not to gaming channels, but some of the LP "season" playlists I have (or had) saved are from quill18 (very amiable strategy gamer who occasionally streams on the GOGcom Twitch channel), Zisteau & EthosLab (their Terraria 1.3 series is pretty good), Aavak & TheMetasepia (they do a very laid-back Terraria let's play), TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit (sometimes solo, but I find him more entertaining when paired with someone else -- most of his videos featuring Jesse Cox or Genna Bain that I've seen were quite amusing). In general, though, I'm extremely picky about what games I'll watch being played, and what kind of personalities/voices/levels of competence I'm willing to watch/listen to play them. And I simply don't watch many review/preview/analysis videos.
Pound for pound, I'd say that Supergreatfriend has the best channel I've ever seen.

When he does a Let's Play, you know that you will see everything that game has to offer. Not only that, he presents games in a way that lets them be themselves. He doesn't scream endlessly, he doesn't talk over the story, you actually get to see the games so that by the time he's done, you can see why he enjoys them.
Along with that, he presents things in such a way that it doesn't get boring. He combines being informative with a very subtle sense of humor that I think really works well, especially in a world of people who think bellowing like freshly chainsawed moose over game footage is fun to watch.
Beyond that, you can tell that he cares about what he does.
Example - I'm rewatching his Illbleed series right now. In that game, the character can trigger traps with interesting visual results. He took the time to not only play the game, but to go through and trigger every single trap, then edit it all together so the viewer could see the traps being set off while still watching the overall playthrough. That must have added quite a bit of time for him to go to the trouble, but he did.

none, because I don't have/want to watch some random looser play some random videogames.
when I want to play a videogame I play it myself.
Matt Chat with Matt Barton
Been watching a lot of Mackscorner/Worthabuy lately. Mack is snarky, intelligent, and manly, like all proper European men should be. He rages, he laughs, he mocks, he entices fanboys into foaming levels of hatred. God forbid he really catches on and goes all pewdiepie on us. Sometimes those in the dark are best left in the dark. The dark is where they truly shine the brightest.
