ABH20: Cryo Chamber on YouTube is pretty much the go-to channel for dark ambient music.
This.

Cryo has a lot of different styles of dark ambient music. The Lovecraft collaborations from them are great and Simon Heath has a good line up of artists on his Cryo Chamber label.

Patterns in the Sky

They took all I had

Shrine - Quintessence
Most of what I have and/or listen to is dark music, so I'm just going to start with sharing my own music:

Drone? Dark Ambient?

Various experiments

Enjoy! (or not)

One day I'll find someone to write a bio/description, but until then - my music will speak for itself.

I found this artist on Bandcamp a while back ago, named Asteroid Anxiety, he makes some really nice and dark space ambient, especially his early stuff like the Oort albums:
Bandcamp page for Asteroid Anxiety

On of my favourite artists is Disturbed Earth from Australia, he makes new music faster than I can afford to spend on music. One of my favourites is his album A Chll Wind:A Chill Wind, on Bandcamp

Another artist I like is John Sherwood, he makes excellent space drones. A great recent album is this one, on Bandcamp:Underwater
The Fureys - Green Fields of France

My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult
Skinny Puppy
KMFDM

Metal Restriction precludes mention of 1349.
Super Meat Boy has some dark music tracks in it (going by the original OST, and not the other one that was used for a console release and done by a different person). Specifically:
* The music for chapter 2.
* Carmeaty Burana, which plays during the chapter "The End". (The name is a play on Carmina Burana, which I mentioned earlier in the topic.)

Celeste has Oshiro's theme (don't remember what the track is called, but the theme makes another appearance in the final part of "Scattered and Lost"), as well as some rather creepy music in Chapter 5.

Also, from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, I would say that Finale Toccata is pretty dark. (If you've played through this game, you've probably heard the early part of the track a lot, as one could say that this track is over-used, but you might not be familiar with the later part of the track, when a bit of percussion enters.)

In Timespinner, I could mention the music track that plays when you fight that one scientist boss.

Edit: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has another rather famous scary track in it; it's the one that plays when there's less than 6 hours until the moon crashes into Termina.

The entire dark ambient genre, of course. Here's some of my favourites. Fans of the genre will probably already know of all of these artists.

Raison d'Etre - The Hidden Hallows
Desiderii Marginis - Secrets of the Future Past
Coph Nia - Doppelganger
Yen Pox - Nightrise

Plenty of Aphex Twin's works are like this, especially from Selected Ambient Works Volume 2, like track 5 and 16. The whole album is legendary though.

From video games:
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Door to the Abyss and Curse Zone
Castlevania: Lament of Innocence - Prologue to the Black Abyss and Aria of Nightmare
Eternal Darkness - Roivas Mansion

The music of Descent: Freespace is also very dark: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAC272AA1CDF5A764
Warning - Why Can The Bodies Fly:

This song was part of the soundtrack for an episode of Germany's longest running TV Crime series "Tatort" (transl.: "Crime Scene") from 1982, titled "Peggy hat Angst" (transl.: "Peggy is scared").

Watching that episode as a kid, in combination with that song, gave me the creeps.

BreOl72: *snip*
Sounds a bit like an 80s version of Ramstein.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-music-mod promises to improve the soundtrack of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings, probably known by many from the film 'Platoon' by Oliver Stone.
