Yup just came on to get Shadow Warrior only to find it apparently isn't available anymore despite what the front page says, spent the past 15-20 minutes trying to figure out why there wasn't any button showing on the front page where it still says it is free.

Been flat out yesturday and not been able to get online until now, kind of a huge let down.

Knowing GOG, they'll probably offer some folks free copies via support or something due to the website err.

Bardez: Advertising it as still free is disingenuous.
It was also advertised to be free for 48 hours.
arrww.. just missed it seems :( sad panda face.. even though i should still have 40 minutes left to claim it in if the 48 hours thing holds any water.
So,... No free Shadow Warrior 2? =/

Wow, what crap this is. Clicked the link in the email and got nothing. Not all of us can sit in front of a PC 24-hours a day just waiting for a damn email to come in so we can pounce on a deal. We needed to be logged in to vote, so they know who voted, and from what I remember, the original email stated that only those who voted were eligible to get the game for free. If that's the case, there is no reason to have such a tiny window of time to get the game.

So I managed to get some time to process my email and find the wonderful notice that I have a free game waiting for me because I took the time to cast my vote, and it's all a line of bull shit because it has already been pulled.

This is me as well. I saw the mail at work. And that the sale was going on until Sunday. So I figured I would be able to do it later at home. Well... Guess you got to be quick here.

This is bad marketing on Gog's behalf.
Congrats to everyone, who managed to grab the SW2. I missed my chance badly. :/
On the bright side, I managed to get some sleep after an awful week at work and some family time. GOG is great, but as I seem to have many such weeks before me, I'd have to again choose some rest and family time over free games.
It's pretty average half the GFX don't seem to do anything!

Hang on you guys go into galaxy If you have it or on the web and it should be in your library but you have to manually search for it in the search box search "shadow Warrior" without the quotation marks just try it!

I even had to buy the ultimate edition upgrade to get the full version so yeah there was that!

Hi Bigs,

I am unable to PM you due to privacy settings. If you still have the code available, I would be happy to take it off your hands.

My friend instructed me to log on and get the game a couple days ago, unfortunately I missed the chance!

Thank you for your generosity!

I have to agree with the folks who have commented on the odd time limit GOG put on this redemption. It's Canadian Thanksgiving here, and I have been travelling and with family. By the time I found some quiet time to redeem, the option to redeem had passed, apparently.

Not citing a deadline to redeem is irksome ("the offer is time-limited, so act fast!"; how fast is "fast"?) and has left a sour taste in my mouth what with my 140+ game purchases to my record. I won't nerdrage my way out of this post, but I am pretty cheesed off.

Themken: Steam is a nightmare if you move around a lot. They think you are many different persons using the same account when it is only you having to travel a lot due to work. In terms of mechmouse's amusing story, it is like you are not allowed to drive abroad (but to be fair, you are allowed to move abroad).

Mr.Caine: OP didn't asked for a condescending lecture either way but it is a chip on this community's shoulder that everyone who uses Steam must be some kind of 'sheeple' in need of guidance from people with superiority complex over a gaming platform.
Steam is for people that like to have their hand held when they go weewee. o.O
