I would like the BFG edition:
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/doom_3_bfg_edition_1
As there is an enhancement mod which uses this version:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-3-bfg-hi-def
Looks quite good.

Serious Sam 2, didn't really grab me like the first.

Just be aware that the BFG Edition is more than twice as expensive as the normal version+expansion (£20 vs £8).

And that it's worse than the original version of Doom 3. :P
SS FE and SE are masterpieces
Serious Sam 2 is a mediocre childish console port that doesn't deserve a vote click

Doom 3 is a tech demo and in that regard its impressive, with very good graphics but why wait for Doom 3 if you have an even better game available now on GOG called FEAR
Yes FEAR is what Doom 3 should have been if id would still be in they prime

Bloody Fuckin' Greedy version.... Sorry about the language.
Also the remakes of the first two Serious Sam's, thank you.

The originals are still good games (and there are even some things I prefer in them over the remakes), but still.

Doom 3 is marked as "in progress" in the community wishlist. So, it will be added to the GOG catalog in a few weeks. The question is : the original and/or the BFG edition ?

For the Serious Sam games, Croteam is currently too "Steam friendly" to allow its HD games drm-free.
Doom 3 is coming here? How did they pull that off? I have it on disc and I still can't play it because of the DRM so I can't imagine it would get anywhere near this place.

Doom 3 isn't marked as in progress. Doom 1+2+3 is marked as in progress and that's because "part of the wish has been completed".

Doom 3 isn't marked as "in progress". Doom 1 2 and 3 is marked as "in progress", because two of the three games are here.
Tell me if you want me to go dig up the blue post concerning this.

Edit: Seems like the cat is learning, and keeps the posts handy. Refer to his post instead of mine.

micktiegs_8: Bloody Fuckin' Greedy version.... Sorry about the language.
Language or no, it's true. The BFG edition was worse than a greedy money grab. I remember being convinced it was nothing more than what amounted to a paid advert to drum up interest in the impending Doom 4 at the time (before Doom 4's development turned out to be a disaster and scrapped). Doom 3 BFG was basically an advert they got people to buy, while it was itself a crap version of an older cheap game (I bought a DVD because it was about $2 many years ago).

Sometimes it's mind boggling how people suck up the nonsense some companies throw out.

PS, it will be a cold day in hell before I'm willing to spend £8 worth for Doom 3 and not just because I have two copies, one DVD of which cost the equivalent of $2.
GOG don't even have to make those titles, they already exist!

Grogger: ...snip
Fair enough, I had assumed the BFG edition was a GOTY edition with all the bits patched up and final. Will stick with my separate copies.
