Funny side note, the first time GOG appeared on my bank statement my wife wondered if it stood for girl-on-girl.

Personally, I use GOG-bog and gee-oh-gee interchangeably. :) GOG-bog is way more common among Polish speakers tho.
Generally I automatically think of it as a single word and yet somehow I like gee-oh-gee more. And I still remember TheEnigmaticT's "This week on gee-oh-gee".

I usually say GOG (bog) because of GOGlins. That doesn't quite work with Gee-oh-gee-lins :D

Agree!
I'm firmly in the bog camp.

First off, "gee oh gee!" sounds like an expression of dismay that someone like Ned Flanders would use.

Secondly, and this is a protip for all gog staffers who still insist on the "gee oh gee" pronunciation: You guys dumped the "Good old games" moniker a loooooong time ago, but it still sticks like gum on a shoe. People still refer to you as "good old games", and you know why? Because if you keep referring to yourselves as "gee oh gee", people will think that gog is an acronym of some kind.
Gee Oh Gee Oh Gee
On some E3 conference few days ago (I think it was Mech Warrior 5) GOG was spelled on screen as GoG. Wonder what that supposed to mean.

Shadowstalker16: When you're talking about it with your friends or thinking about it, how do you refer to this site? Do you say G-O-G as three separate letters? Or do say it as one word, like ''bog'' but instead ''gog''? Or do you say ''good old games'' every time? As for me, I use the second option, and say it as one word because that sounds right and is most convenient.

What do you use and why?

Is there an official stance on this?

BreOl72: Back, when it still stood for "Good Old Games", I said "Gee-Oh-Gee".
But nowadays, I simply say "GOG".
This. I just say GAHG.
When I'm talking with Polish friends I use the GOG "bog" version in most cases. When talking with someone from other country I usually keep the gee-oh-gee pronunciation. It doesn't matter when we write on the forums however. It's always GOG no matter how you read it. :)

This made me realize that both the GAHG and the Geee-Oh-Geee pronunciation make for perfect orgasm moans.
GOG-bog works just fine, sounds natural.
Gog as in "Gog and Magog".

Some youtubers still pronounce it as Gee-Oh-Gee though. In fact, I think that's the majority of youtubers.

That makes sense. I had the idea after reading Sachys' post that gog could maybe add an exclamation mark after the name; ie GOG! like some animes but that would destroy related terms like GOGlins, Goglodytes and the GOGbear.

.Keys: This is a outstandingly mindblowing level of trolling.
It's trolling when the creator of GIFs says it's pronounced "JIF"? :)
