I agree. It's why I like Innistrad from MTG so much. It feels like Ravenloft. I wish WotC would take chance on this IP :(

That's sounds like Bloodstained. Some aspects of the game are a little too close to the original. Like how Dominique from Bloostained is basically Sypha from Castlevania 3.

ps: I can see that most people would rather think of Baldur's Gate rather than Kotor and rightfully so, that was me not expressing myself clearly.

I would love to see a new Onimusha game, a remake, sequel, reboot, anything. Such an amazing series but it's completely forgotten by Capcom. They only ever care about making Resident Evil games.

Baldur's Gate is too modern for me to consider to be "old-style". When I think "old-style", I'm thinking turn-based.

Yes. It was labelled as "Battle Isle IV" back in the day however it is very different from the Battle isle games.

I would like to see more games of Dizzy please. I don't understand why GOG and Steam can't have old titles at least, what's the problem for Oliver Twins to publish them digitally, I thought they retained all the rights for their franchise.

Anything by Brandon Sanderson is worldbuilding on steroids. It's his strongest suit.

If you have Neverwinter Nights, there are some modules on the NWVault based on Ravenloft. I can't recommend any specifically as I haven't played them yet. I'm currently going through one based on Greyhawk, which is another neglected D&D IP.

My preference:
3rd person* immersive sim / adventure, with an elaborate story and not just a mission-of-the-week.

*3rd person so you can play (multiple) main characters and actually see them. And not some generic newly invented crew member, like in Elite Force.

I have not. I've heard it's not bad but as a concept it just doesn't do anything for me, and it's not really cheap enough to grab it just to see if I'll like it. It seems like the current people are doing a somewhat better job of handling the license, as opposed to previous efforts that just were just outright not Conan, but they keep doing Conan-adjacent stuff like the MMO and Exiles instead of just doing the character himself.

While I wouldn't necessarily call the Highlander franchise "good" (despite my nostalgic fondness for the main TV series), I've always thought it could've made for an interesting video game or two.
The most obvious idea would be to make a fighting game. I think it would be best if it followed a single player-character (ideally through a branching series of fights), rather than doing the typical fighting-game thing and having a stable of different characters where no one is the canonical protagonist, except by "word of god" from the devs. Every battle could be a set-piece affair, culminating in the sword duel, but there could maybe be RPG level-up mechanics thrown in (each Quickening could give a certain amount of experience based upon the specific Immortal defeated), and probably some exploration and story in between major fights. Of course, there should probably be some flashback levels that take place in decades or centuries past, and in different locales.
And using voice actors who can actually sound like they fit the background of the characters they're supposed to be portraying would be good, too. ;P
