Not played for a while. Came back and trying to do the sentinel quest and shot a few sentinels.... quite a few.

Anyhow, i have changed areas and left the planet, warped to a new system where my base is, and used the gates to go to previous systems. But they still come for me

The problem is. As soon as i step one foot out of my ship, the sentinels know exactly where i am (even if there is none around) and come straight to me.

I can hide and wait until the sentinel moves on and the timer expires but as soon as i leave my ship or base, the sentinels magically see me (even if far away and not in line of sight) and come stright back for me.

Bug?

Its a bit annoying as i can't set foot on the surface of any planet as the sentinels, no matter where they are of if they are even there, spawn and know exactly where i am and come for me.

Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!!!

Or tell us what game are you playing and someone might help you.
Turnips!
Sounds like it's bugged. Not sure if there's a fix, but you can try the NMS save editor and see if you can find something in there that will help.
Oh no, not another guess the game quiz.
Sounds like No Man's Sky? It's been a while. It sounds like you have the sentinel quest checked in your mission log? You'll need to uncheck sentinel quest. If it's checked/active on screen, sentinels will always be hostile. Hope it works.

It's No Man's Sky, they attack you if you harvest too many resources.

i have changed areas and left the planet
All I can think of is the Stargate SG-1 episode 'The sentinel'... is that whats this is, and the OP got too immersed? O_o

That's the episode where an SG team accidentally disables a planet's superweapon which protects them, so they are invaded by the Goa'uld. I feel a little weird that I know almost every SG1 episode by heart
Call the X-men.

Yep, a rouge team 'accidentally' kill the human counterpart to the planet's Sentinel.

Don't feel bad, it's just the kind of (good) series that makes you remember it all too well... ;)

A rouge team, interesting, I have heard of black ops, not reddish operations :o)

Lol, I guess it's also post "wet job" when I'm being caught red-handed. ;)
It's tough being an X-man hunted by Sentinels. Thankfully you still have nightcraw1er^
