I would like to mention that in the last half hour I tried to buy the games I selected for my giftee, several times, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried 5-6 times, on both Mozilla and Chrome!

It isn't your browser, it's GOG. This is reported on the "What Did Just Break" thread by more of our Secret Santas. They say paying with Paypal works but wallet funds do not. Looks like we'll need to be patient Santas and try again later. Hopefully GOG will fix it soon as this is gifting season.

Which payment method? I didn't have any trouble yesterday night, using Paypal.

That makes sense. I tried to buy a couple of games yesterday with wallet funds and didn't work, I though I needed to update browser and all that good stuff.

Sorry, but you tried to join us after closing the signups and it's just impossible now - all the Santas have already been paired with their giftees. My recommendation is: be active on the forums throughout the year and join us next year :)

WE DID IT!
With 44 participants and 5 Secret Elves this is now the most populated Secret Santa event since 2015! \o/
2016 also had 44 participants, but 4 Secret Elves, so I count the current year a winner (on penalties xD) in that duel.

Well i know it's over but i really don't understand how this works as i never entered secret santa due to not knowing how it works.
I know it has 3 categories but i still don't understand what exactly a secret santa does.
Is there a more detailed explanation for this?
Maybe next year i will join.
