So I get not just an Outsider, but RWarehall on the same day! This is shaping up to be a nice Christmas Eve. I wonder how you'll play as a liberal if the Roll Gods don't decide you're fascist.

Only two days left! I started work on the flavor for the opening. Don't worry, it can be easily adjusted for more players. Should I write a FAQ section just in case? I want to make a couple of things clear before the game starts so I don't get asked about them in the game. Mostly obvious stuff in the rules and regarding the setup.

@GameRager: If you haven't already, start reading the rules.

I will do so today or tomorrow and be ready and eager when the game begins....also as for your question: Go right ahead and make a FAQ...it might help me keep on track, at the very least. :)

The game is being prepared. If I don't finish the preparations in time, I'll start it on the 29th. Hopefully I get the ball rolling today. For now, I'm not seeing any objections to it, so here's a short FAQ.

Q1. Will the flavor affect the game?
A: No. It will just be there for fluff, so don't go looking for clues within the flavor.

Q2. What of the game? Will there be any tweaks, meta-rules, etc?
A: It will be a normal game of Secret Hitler with no twists or surprises. All rules in the official rulebook (see OP) will be followed, no less and no more.

Q3. Should I read the rulebook?
A: Definitely. So many nuances of the game are covered in the rulebook.

Q4. What are the differences between Mafia and Secret Hitler?
A: Mafia and SH are similar in that they split their players into an uninformed majority (Liberals, Town) and an informed minority (Fascists, Mafia), and as social deduction games, both involve scumhunting as well as lying. In SH however, there are only two lynches, available end-game, and these lynches are decided by one player (the president who has the execution power). Both Liberal and Fascist parties advance their goals by enacting their respective policies and not through lynches or nightkills. When a president nominates a chancellor, EVERYONE must vote, including the president and chancellor themselves.

Q5. How many fascists are in the fascist team?
A: On 5 and 6 player games, there is one Fascist and Hitler. On 7 and 8 player games, there are two Fascists and Hitler. On 9 and 10 player games, there are three Fascists and Hitler.

Q6. Does Hitler know who his buddies are?
A: Only in 5 and 6 player games.

Q7. Do the fascists have a scum/night chat?
A: No.
