As for meta or no meta, I'm not going to enforce it as the game mod. I would basically be a pretty princess while doing the occasional secret vote count, announcing who picked who as chancellor, the cards drawn, etc. What I want to say is, you'll have to pitch it to the players and then they decide if they're OK with it or not.

I'm going to assume you will reprise your previous role (Supple Scene). You can change to a new role if you'd like.

Now with your signing up, the fascist team will be comprised of 2 fascists and Hitler, and the latter will not know who his buddies are. Yes, before starting the game, I will drop a long post that answers FAQs so that they don't get asked in-game (like "how many fascists are we're dealing with?") because they're often answered in the rulesbook anyway.

What does it mean, meta or none meta?

If I recall correctly, he wants the 1st president to choose the 6th player in a 10 player game, then 2nd pres and 7th player, 3rd and 8th and so on. Personally I don't agree with it since it takes away the fun fickleness of the game, but he sees that it makes it a much better game.

If we are going to go with being forced to choose a specific player for chancellor based on their position in relation to the position of the president I would be against it. The president should be free to choose whoever they want as chancellor as long as they were not just president or chancellor.

Yes. Taking away one variable may make the game easier, but it also makes it less interesting. So I wouldn't want to impose an additional rule. The game's balance is fine as it is: the President progresses from one to the next player, but the Chancellor is proposed by the president. Not dictated by a meta-rule.

The only thing that will be enforced is what the rulebook says. Who chooses who is left up to you guys, and seeing that you're against it, I doubt it will take off. I'm not a fan of this play idea either.

I just realized I didn't exactly make this clear at any point: it will be a regular Secret Hitler game. No deviations from the rulebook and no additions to what I will enforce.
