Not in SH. The number of rounds remain more or less same. This isn't like Mafia where players drop out so the more there are, the more days it takes.

I would like to see more people join too. The problem with 6 players is that Hitler knows who his buddy is. It's more fun if he's left in the dark.

I reallly gotta watch that OP linked vid.....I was thinking that one person was cut per "day" or round like in mafia.

A game that's entirely flavor and no play. I'll be down for that.
Seriously though, I wanted to have Bookwyrm in the flavor, with BEATRICE v1.1 as a backup plan. Now I get the best of both worlds.

Well, it typically means:
- the fascists and liberals increase in size
- on 7 player games and up, Hitler doesn't know who his buddies are

So basically a harder game. Oh, and it's even likelier that you will be a fascist in SH than a mafioso in Mafia. While you will stay alive for longer thanks to the 2 executions that can happen only by endgame, I advise you improve your playstyle cause this is how likely you will be fascist:
5-player: 2/5
6-player: 1/3
7-player: 3/7
8-player: 3/8
9-player: 4/9
10-player: 2/5

All these ratios closer to 1/2 than Mafia's 1/4, if not dangerously close to 1/2. I dunno why I did this but I just woke up I guess.

Maybe we could get enough players to play a couple of real-time games on the SH website before the forum game starts. We'll need a time/date that will suit everyone though.

I'm down for that as well. All days OK except 7PM-10PM UTC+2 Tuesday-Thursday.

Also if I may ask: Why does hitler not know who is fascist if more than so many players? Game rule?

Welp I know who i'm voting for.....or working with. o.0

On 5 and 6 players game, there is only one normal fascist. To make the "scumteam" happen, both Hitler and the fascist know who each other are. On games with two fascists or more, Hitler is left in the dark. I'd say it's Hitler's puzzle to figure out who are his pals to coordinate an election with his him as chancellor. It also balances the fascists' power, given that they are only 1 or 2 less than the liberal team, by having their most supreme member start clueless.

Hint: voting in this game isn't voting against someone, but voting him into office. So if I can count on your vote, it will make getting into a government easier! :-)

And yes, whether Hitler knows his buddie(s) or not is a balancing factor. It's in the rules and I would suggest that you read the rules completely, since the game is different from mafia. If you go into the game with a Mafia- mindset, you'll just end up taking nonsense and no one will trust you.
