JoeSapphire: So... I'm gonna say that the Fascists are... RWarehall, Microfish and ZFR. Once the game is over you may shower me with praises. NO Actually I change my mind it's not ZFR at all. RWarehall, Microfish and Trentonlf. Yes. I think I got that right.
GameRager: What? No lift? o.0
Also what are you basing your picks on, if I may ask? Random number generator, lucky dice, drawing straws, black magic, fortune cookie texts?
Thanks for asking! I simply asked myself 'If I was the random number generator, who would I pick as the fascists?' and that's how I know it's RW, fish and trent.
Lifthrasil: WHAT? Not me? I am disappoint!
If it's you I'll be sure to recognise it by that distinctive 'brain exploding in slow motion' sensation. I'll be sure to let you know if I start to feel it.
Lifthrasil: @GR: about your nomination: nominating the very next player in line would have been bad. It would give the nominated player the chance to participate in two successive governments. Once as Chancellor, once as President and as long as we don't know anything about players, that's a conglomeration of power that is to be avoided. Personally, I would have nominated someone from the lower half, but well, what's done is done.
I'm still not really convinced that giving one person two governments in a row is a bad move. Maybe the biggest problem with it is it leaves 'untested' candidates further down the line, so later governments are more risky - but when are they ever unrisky? The 'tests' are unfair to begin with, and the results can be faked. Any test's result is pretty much uninterpretable from an outside perspective... argh, I'm beginning to remember why this game is so painful...
