So all votes are in. ZFR and Trent were right, this game is slow. I wonder if we could do a speed play of a whole game sometime where we all commit to be online for a certain period and play none stop.
ZFR: See, this is what I don't get.
I too want someone who I know won't discard it. Which means that if there was a
big chance of getting an L, I'd want the most trustworthy people in government, so they can pass it. If there was a
small chance of getting it, I wouldn't mind other people. You are saying it the other way round.
JoeSapphire: I'm not saying it the other way round - That makes it sound like I'm saying we want less trustworthy people in government once Ls have been shuffled back in - I want me in government, and then if we're still playing I'd want you (ZFR) in government. These are my three most trusted players right now.
You imply there's a small chance of getting the L, so you wouldn't mind other people (or perhaps you're just doing rhetoric) but in this situation there isn't a small chance of getting an L - there's a big chance of getting an L, and a big chance of not getting an L.
rtcvb summed up my logic here: "60% chance of an L being drawn from the 5 cards.
So long as two liberals are handling it, yeah a 4th one would be passed."
I go on to say that, if the president was not liberal, there would be no reason not to remove the L. No repercussion and minimal loss of trust.
But, it's a vote and no-one seems to agree with me so let's go with all y'alls's stupid plan and when we all lose I can say I told you so.
While this is late and everyone has voted so a redundant point. But you do realise there is the chance there are no L cards left in the deck? If Pooka is fascist (40%) and he drew a Liberal Card (I think it was 40% chance but I may have misremembered), then there are no Liberal cards left. So 16% if I calculate correctly
So only an 84% chance of an L card and if there is a 60% chance of drawing. So in actual fact 0.84 x 0.6 - 50.4% chance of drawing a Liberal. Ofcourse that's assuming the other 3 presidents told the truth about the cards they discarded, which certainly isn't a given.
supplementscene: @Zeo do we get an investigation or choose government with out next fascist policy?
zeogold: Not sure what "choose government" is supposed to mean, but yes, with the next fascist policy, the president when that policy is passed will do an investigation. The same person cannot be investigated twice in the same game, so he'll have to investigate somebody besides Blotunga.
Sorry I thought that we were at the stage of Fascist powers where we may be choosing President but apparently we are not.
