Well we've only got 4 Ls left, so we need to put two in each envelope if we're to have any hope of getting over 1/2.
so (LL) - (LL) and FFFFFFFFFF to go between them
my instinct is (LLF) and (LLFFFFFFFFF) which would give us 1/2 PLUS (2/11)(1/10) for LLF, LFL and FLL; 6/110, so I think that gives us 61/110.
If I did it as (LLFFFFF) and (LLFFFFF) we have half of twice (2/7)(1/6) for three ways, which, I think, gives us (1/7).
61/110 is greater than 1/7.
I'll just try out (LLFFF) and (LLFFFFFFF) for science.
half of thrice (2/5)(1/4) + half of thrice (2/9)(1/8) = (3/2)(1/10 + 1/36) = 23/120. Which is smaller than 61/110, but larger than 1/7 so I'm gonna call it a trend (sorry science) and say that (LLF) (LLFFFFFFFFF) is the best way to do it.
Zephyr, over to you to explain what I did wrong ;p
