supplementscene: @Lift but you only have Greek you can trust to work with and he'll be barred from your government. Tactically another confirmed liberal alongside the 2 most confirmed is surely better. After this turn there will be no investigation powers.
That is true, but an investigation always goes both ways, at least a bit. The problem is, that you never can trust a read completely. RW raised quite a lot of dust, but he's right in one respect: it would be a possible (even if very risky) play for the fascists to establish a Hitler-Greek as perfect Chancellor candidate for the rest of the game. So Greek confirming you still leaves the slight possibility that you both are fascist - or, if you are fascist and he is liberal, there will be disagreement between you after the read. It is quite possible that you wanted to be investigated to raise doubts about Greek, pretending to be totally surprised that he reads you as fascist and therefore must be fascist himself. Or in short: I would like to be investigated, because I am the only player whose alignment I know without any doubt. That makes it easier to evaluate what the reported read tells me about Greek. I am totally aware that you have to have the same reservations about me and that, for you, it would be preferrable to be investigated yourself. But that is true for every player and in the end it will be Greeks call.
