Ho, boy. This ain't good. It's bad enough that the bots seemed to peg the thread in general, but it looks like whoever's rep-stalking RWarehall is also spam-stalking him and deleting his posts here.
I'll talk over this and Bookwyrm and see what can be done about it. Hopefully it doesn't continue.

Alright, clearly there's some bot/spam/rep trickery at work here and I don't really see any way around it, so I propose the following:
I can set up a quick Freeforums board and run the game there. It would require all the players to switch over and be fine with playing there, but it seems a preferable alternative to abandoning the game because some bot's deleting posts. Does that sound like a reasonable alternative?

Huh, how can a bot delete a post unless they have access to a moderator's account?? Anyway, we might want to contact one ourselves as this could be potentially damaging to the game.

The "report as spam" button. Whenever you -1 a post, that little button pops up, as you know. However, when you press it, it doesn't send an actual report read by an actual human. Rather, it just logs the click. After enough different accounts click the button, the post gets deleted.
There's no reason whatsoever that any moderator would've deleted any of those posts, so it's pretty clear to me that there's either some sort of bot at work here or somebody's got a vendetta against RWarehall. Knowing GOG, I doubt there's anything that they can/will do.

Thank You, I graciously accept the nomination and would propose an open government. Where all policy knowledge and decisions are shared with the rest of parliment letting them know about the liberal and more fascist elements at play.

@Zeo so we have a terrorist at large that isn't even alligned with the fascists, maybe it's the Communists looking to form a coup. We must all stand vigilantly as one against the Communistas.

I say we try staying here and if the trolls around here really keep being so childish as to sabotage this game, then let's move on to freeforums or wherever.

@Mr. President: good choice, I think. I don't know if I would trust someone who calls himself 'Boss', that sounds awfully authoritarian, but a chancellor making a Scene from now and then might be funny and even good. Making a scene when something goes wrong can be necessary.

@All, especially those unfamiliar with the game: remember, we do NOT vote here in the thread. Everything we write here is pure fluff for now. We send in our votes to the mods and they will reveal who voted what when all the votes have been collected. So it's not a secret vote in the end, but it has to stay secret until everybody has voted, so that the votes so far can't influence everyone's vote.

Free, equal and secret votes are, after all, the basis of a fair democracy.
