Brasas: Just like now I'm still thinking there is no real upside or downside to flunking your and dedo's team and giving RW carte blanche. Not sure I still prefer dedo to RW but heck... I'd likely still vote Yes to either.
On this, I would like to say that my logic (and someone else's previous analysis which I don't remember) says that at least one of scene, RW is a liberal and maybe both, so I will vote no to dedo. The interesting case for me is if RW is liberal and scene fascist, in this case I believe we'll get some info out of it.

zeogold: Just so you all know why things seem to be stagnating, Cristigale needs a replacement. I'm currently in the process of trying to find one.
Could we put it in the title of the thread or maybe make a new thread requesting a player? I'd do the latter myself but don't want to step on anyones toes.
Or use the admin thread or poke all the regulars on the list again to ask whether someone has time to step in.
Or we can agree that the victory goes to the liberals! Does anyone object to this?

You can't elect a Chancellor without all the votes counted, especially in a close race. It'd ruin the analysis of voter intentions everything aside. And we still need a 10th player anyway.

I meant the game victory, joking of course

Brasas: Not standing out as a strategy would have been me voting Yes...
I wrote "NO votes not standing out" and not about "not standing out" in general. The best place to hide a tree is in a forest and the best place to hide a NO vote is among other NO votes.

Anyway, I may well be pulling at straws...

Just letting you know, I won't be treating your NOs as "he's voting NO anyway" from now on.
So are we playing or what?

blotunga: So are we playing or what?
We are waiting for zeo to find a replacement foe cristigale.
EDIT ok I reread all I wrote and it does sound conspiracy theoryish. Having rethunk it, I doubt you did this on purpose. But... it might cause your nos to pass under the radar regardless.

This is my understanding as well. Until that happens it feels like we are somewhat stuck.
We've been in a discussion about different options, even considering whether I should sub in (since Zeo hasn't done much more than ask me generic process questions; I ended up asking HIM for a link to the observer thread).

I'm not planning to step in to replace Cristi (I don't want to play catch up on a 400 post game with my current schedule, and to avoid even an appearance of impropriety). I don't know the status of Zeo's discussions with other people in his search for a replacement.

One of the options we discussed was simply mod-killing the spot. Such an action isn't desirable since this game (unlike Mafia) isn't designed around players dying continuously over the duration of the game, but (from where I'm sitting) it is looking like the only option we have left.

Oh, and please try to avoid reading into my post here. I probably know less about this game than any of you guys. I simply want to update everyone so you don't think the mods have forgotten you. I'm a slacker, but I do have a small amount of pity.
Hope has arisen! We have a potential replacement!

Waiting on Zeo to make the final decision and official announcement.
Finally back to my PC. I don't like to post anything that requires heavy editing from my phone so I have to wait till now to reply.

RWarehall: It's posts like this that make me believe you are not what you claim. If you were a liberal, you'd realize how impossible it is to spot Hitler (because I've been trying to think up creative ways to do so). You'd also have a greater appreciation of how difficult it is to spot a fascist and how much guesswork is involved. There usually is no "probably" about it, just hair-pulling and doubt. That said, I now do have you in the "probably fascist" camp, but it took this slip of yours to do it.
I can understand if I sound suspicious. I think a lot already think not to include me in any election and to be frank I see no problem with that, especially with current 3-0 position. But how you write

There usually is no "probably" about it, just hair-pulling and doubt.

got me confused. What is the difference between me calling it probably and you calling it doubt? O_O???

Brasas: Not standing out as a strategy would have been me voting Yes... the opposite of what I did. I think you are pulling at straws. And I'm very tempted to see that as you trying to distract from attention drawn to your buddy kusu... and/or yourself... because really, YOUR No vote was the decisive one considering you were actually on the ballot, but spotlight on you is the last think you need now right?
This is even more interesting. Like really really interesting. Calling me ZFR buddy XD
The entire council waits for Big Brass and the Count to vote. The Puzzlemaster slowly grows more and more impatient. Finally, he slams both fists on the table and stands up.
"VHAT IS IT VE ARE VAITING FOR!!?!?!"
He narrows his eyes into a sharp scowl and scans the group. Big Brass is simply leaning back in his seat with his hands behind his head. He refuses to vote, but is at least clearly awake. The Count, on the other hand, is face down in her glass of wine.
The Puzzlemaster marches stiffly over to the Count's side of the table and grabs her roughly by the collar, throwing the wine glass to the floor and shaking her around, punctuating each sentence with a slap.
"VAKE UP! VAKE UP! QUIT ZE SLEEPING! UND ZE NAPPING! UND MAKE! VERDAMMT! VOTE!"
After satisfying himself with this savagery, he lets go of the Count, who drops limply to the ground. Everybody stares at what is clearly a corpse in mute shock.
"...oh, snap. Is that dude de- ...uh...MEIN GOTT! ZE COUNT!"
The soldiers drag the Count's body out of the room, and as they do so, a new figure enters.
"Greetings to you all. I am Adalia, bookkeeper for the Count. In event of her death, I am legally entitled to represent him. As it appears the worst has occurred, I am now present to take over his duties."
"ZEN SIT DOWN UND VOTE!"

Cristigale has been replaced by Adaliabooks.
