OK, back home with a PC access.
And now I can't help regard people asking about rules with suspicion. Escpecially if it's an unambigous ones regarding clarification. But the fact that scum know each other is (informed minority) is pretty much the basis of any mafia game. The "close your eyes" phase is pretty much there in any mafia flavour. And it's described in Secret Hitler rules.
(and this is not saying that anyone who asks about the game is automatically a fascist, and it's not meant to discourage anyone from asking clarification about any rules). Just wanted to point out why I have my eye on scene.
And I just realized that I've always played Resistance live; never in forums. Which makes a difference. In-person you have to act fast. On the forum, something which might appear like a "spontaneous" response could actually be a well-prepared one over which the author thought for hours.
And finally I just want to reiterate the above: you lie; you're almost certainly fascist. I can't stress this enough. To all the newbies in this game, this is not a game where liberals should try and "trick" their opponents. They know each other, they know you, you don't trick them; you only make the game worse for your team.
greeklover: Btw Mr Scene not knowing a basic rule could be a big bluff because the automatic 100% sure conclusion from his claim is that he is liberal, I don't like this type of "mistakes"
Pretty much this. I employed the same thing last mafia game, which was my first mafia game. I'd as what "quicktopic" is, even though I knew perfectly, since the only faction with no quicktopic access were townie, and since I was a newbie this could be seen as a legit question. blotunga: I voted yes, because this way we can somewhat test ZFRs alignment. It's clear that he knows the game and has played it before.
For the record, this is my first Secret Hitler game. But I have played Resistance for years. And I just realized that I've always played Resistance live; never in forums. Which makes a difference.
