ScummVM just gets more and more amazing. They are even making good progress on adding simultaneous audio and subtitles to games that never offered that feature, even Phantasmagoria that never had subtitles in the first place. Other exciting stuff in the works is support for The Neverhood, The Journeyman Project, and BLADE RUNNER YES.

Blade Runner? Heck yeah! This is important, since a digital re-release seems pretty unlikely at this point. :D
Oooh! I have the original Myst too! Finally something to bypass the ridiculously ancient Quicktime version.
Nice work, hopefully we'll see Myst for Linux at some point in the future.

Blade Runner? I was under the impression that that was out of the scope of ScummVM. That's cool, I have it around on disc but never played it.

Let's be honest, I'll install it, load it up, remember I'm bad at adventure games and come back to it every once in a while but never finish it, but I'm still excited.

I have Myst installed in my 1.8.0 version, but obviously it doesn't work. Other than that I have the Horrorsoft games installed.

Edit: 1.8.1 version, not 1.8.0.

Even Starship Titanic.

It's not, but unlike The Journeyman Project and Neverhood, Blade Runner is not in the main tree, so it's hard to tell when we'll see it in an official release. For example, The Journeyman Project 2 is finished - it was done by the same person who did the first one, and he even got help from the original developers - but it still hasn't been merged back.
ScummVM 1.9.0 released!

Would there be any reason to have the original Myst as bonus content with Myst Masterpiece, or are they basically the same game?

They're the same game. The original Myst used either 256 colour or 16-bit colour graphics, the Masterpiece Edition used (I think) rerendered 32-bit colour visuals. Apparently some of the sounds and music were remastered as well, but the pixelated and heavily compressed video footage was left as is.
Hey GOG, now would be a good time to update all the scummVM here! It would make for a nice Christmas present. ;)...
On second thought, don't wait that long.
