ScouseMouse180: I think I was around 10 when I got my own SNES and played that tonssss but I started gaming when I was 5-6 because my older brother had an NES so I had no choice but to play lots of insanely hard games which was pretty frustrating cos so many of them I just couldnt get anywhere with.
Do you thing it was something about the games of the time, or were you too young?
I do think that the older games were much less unforgiving. Maybe because they were harder to make, so it was much easier to make people adapt to the limitations of the game than the other way around. Also, those games had much less competition.
ScouseMouse180: I must have had the patience of a saint as a kid cos I'd keep playing these games over and over even tho I was getting absolutely no where. Nowadays I'm usually very quick to give up on a game if it's stupidly hard.
Yeah, I relate with that too.
ScouseMouse180: you'd have to be a solid like 10 hours into the game to be able to start it.
I'd advise against watching these videos though to be honest if you dont want the story ruining.
It was my first playthrough. I had played it well over 20 hours by then.
I won't follow your videos for the reasons you mentioned. (The Aerith bit was spoiled before I even started). But I noticed your last video (the one before this one) precedes the point where I stopped.
