skeletonbow: Indeed, it actually got better performance over time as they optimized the game too. I've upgraded to a Radeon RX 6700 XT a little over a month ago now though and am getting over 60fps in 1600p with ray tracing enabled... what a major upgrade. Finally can have my cake and eat it too. LOL

richlind33: I was considering a 7900 XTX but the power consumption is pretty extreme. What's your card like?
The 6700XT turned out to deliver the performance I expected and then some. It's currently rated as the best price:performance value card at least here in North America, and with 12GB of VRAM it is somewhat future proofed as all of the next gen games (and many that are out already) need to be dumbed down significantly to run on cards with less than 12GB. I was initially going to get the 6600XT or 6650XT because they were cheaper, but the extra price for the 6700XT and the extra longevity it would give, plus the higher performance made it seem like the best value. No regrets! :)

It's 230W TBP.
i have a patoto pc

Sounds like a very good card. I'm dumbfounded that NVIDIA is selling mid-tier cards with 8 GB of VRAM, at wildly inflated prices. But just about everything is wildly inflated. A pandemic of chaos and greed.
Nice Writing, the Bearded Violation #232 by NEO was kinda rough to swallow but well acted character, perfect Rocketboy class. Story blended in well, everything good on that side. But NO CLASS CHOICE.
Motorcycles, perfect graphics and somewhat function. Vehicles, not so much. I lane split cars with a TRUCK without pushing either car off the road. Physics problems.
Quests are good, but not when identically repeatable IN THE SAME LOCATIONS.
Graphics... it worked, some version, for a little while, until I decided to update again, then CTD on start, for all versions. Older PC but no excuse for Windowed mode.

That's all the kindness I can afford the Choombas at CD Projekt Wrekt.
Here's a nice thing - I loved Witcher 3 in all its glory, a perfected game, not what I expected.

RockTheBoat666: The best in bugs at the launch, I never saw tastier bugs in my life. It made CD Projekt Red to bring tasty bugs into the remaster of "The Witchier 3" as well. What a charmer! I am thrilled to see what the big buggier future awaits us. Even the fear of Cthulhu cannot outmatch the nice horrors of what great bugfestations CD Projekt Red is able to create in our smooth chitin days. Isn't it beautiful? The Horror genre will never be the same.
Recently I downgraded Witcher 3 just to be able to PLAY it on Windows 8.1, they want to exclude older OSes too, while the game is still popular, like fuck anyone that paid good money for this.
Otherwise, no upgrades, I played & finished Witcher 3 and the 2 DLCs NO CRASHES, NO GLITCHES. Great graphics, great stories, replayable, not done with half the side quests YET in a full year of play.
Cybershrek, not so much, crashes every 1-4hrs. of play. NOW (0xc00000007b) or CTD before menu screen.
It's better than Starfield. lol
While I hate to see single player games break any exisiting older OS compatibility, at least this time the developers were decent enough to confess relatively early on that future patches may end up doing so, allowing me to continue to ignore this game while I try to find the motivation to figure out why I can't get GPU passthrough working with a Linux VM despite it working just fine with a Windows 7 VM on three of my host computers already.
So, I decided to play CP77 now and I'm already about 30 minutes in.

Do you guys have any tips for starters? Like about mistakes I shouldn't make in the beginning?
Its finished. :) Even i dont mind futuristic games i prefer medieval fantasy story driven rpg. So if that mean cdproject do some witcher 4, then it is nice ....

Take your time to do side missions, they are very good.

Sure, that's what I always do in RPGs :)

Unlike most gamers, I like blindly following a quest marker, I'm not kidding. It has something meditative :)

Either go for the base missions all the way or start fast with side missions. I 'waited' to long with the sidemissions. The 'story' felt now and then quite wrangled when persons you meet in side missions start to play some sort of a role in your social gathering . . .

Anyways. . . something nice

Absolutely. Hands down light-years better. Even more so - I'm actually looking forward to play the game properly ever since the 1.6/1.7 update. They've really turned the game around.

Have you played the expansion?
Someday it will match the original teaser?
