The one nice thing about the bungled-up release that Cyberpunk was: It made me appreciate the appearance of Horizon: Zero Dawn that much more. Now there's a splendid open-world game. ;)

cowtipper-: Cyberpunks AI is better than GTA 1 and the London 1969 expansion pack.
Well, AI or not, it's debatable whether or not even GTA 1 is better than CyberPunk 2077:

But personally, I'd say even GTA 1 beats it...

MysterD: At least Cyberpunk 2077 didn't get patches with EOS and always-online requirement for a single-player game, like say Steam-version of TR 2013, Rise of the TR, and Shadow of the TR did last night.
They added DRM to those years old games? Really?

To the thread: Due to this 2077 thread, I got some laughs like finding out about the above

If you linked your Epic account to Steam - then yup, you got saddled w/ EOS (Epic Online Services) for online-always DRM.
Patch got pulled, until they "fix" this.

It's a shame b/c they added DLSS and other support graphically, which should help the game run better too.
Hopefully, they fix the EOS nonsense and get that patch up all fixed, so we can bump DLSS and other worthwhile features.

That sucks....oh well, I can enjoy games even without the latest graphical advancements(though I do like them sometimes, I admit), so I can still enjoy my other versions(console copy, etc).

richlind33: It isn't Win 11.
But, will it RUN on Win11? o.0 ;)

*2077.exe fails to load, proceeds to cause Win11 PC to smoke and sputter*
(the above is a joke, if anyone didn't get that)

Of course it will run on win 11, that’s not the problem. You do need an array of 30 nvidia 3080s to show those oh so wonderful graphics with all the hidden collision boxes and foliage popping, and 60petabytes of RAM to handle all the complex and deep AI - billboards don’t move in straight lines or occasionally duck on their own you know, not to mention a hard drive that is so fast it goes backwards in time to be able to handle streaming the complete in depth backstories available, and of course a full satellite array so you can connect it to the internet to have the full experience with all content.
Unfortunately the only people able to afford such a rig are the owners of CDPr after they paid themselves vast piles of cash for a job well done…

The latter.

Anything with RPG in the description is probably not my type of game.

What if said description has words with the letters r, p, and g in it? ;D

Do you want me to say something good about CP? Alright, the main story arc is AMAZING. Probably one of the GOAT storylines in the gaming industry if you ask me.
