Nope, succubus did not promise loads of things then not deliver. Nor did they buy reviews. Nor did they lie to customers. Nor was it preload only for galaxy users. Nor does succubus have online gated content.
Succubus is of course a total garbage game with bland repeated graphics, repetitive skill-less combat, and is only there as soft porn for teenagers. But trying to compare it to the unabashed, across the board abomination of cyberpunk is unfair.

Madmind doesn't have the money to buy a fuckton of fraudulent marketing, so they're going with the tried and true practice of catering to the lowest common denominator.

True. Either way they are both on my wouldn’t waste bandwidth or disk space downloading list, and CDPr are on the “EA” list of publishers to not bother with at all.

You can't be serious. I don't care how you feel about Cyberpunk 2077, that one trashfire doesn't even begin to compare to the list of shit that EA does. Between the very existence of Madden(and involvement in that exclusivity racket,) the spamming of lootboxes in the most egreitious ways I've ever seen in pay to play, the copyright abuse through using failing companies before they bankrupt and it becomes an auction, and the utterly malicious and manipulative marketting, you cannot begin to justify that statement.

Hyperbole's can be helpful, but not when you drop them out of nowhere as if they're serious.

There's my nice thing to say: It isn't Madden

RTXXX
it showed me how...at the end of the day...cdpr is just "another" AAA company....willing to sacrifice good will for a quick buck.

You really need to look at CDPr a bit more then don’t you. Loot boxes, yep gwent has them, cp was meant to be a microtransaction market. Sure, for them EA is still the ideal dream and there are ways to go, but don’t be fooled into think CDPr are anything other than an EA clone now.

When you speculate and purposely interpret someone's person in the most malicious terms you can, you are the one being malicious. The worse you can say is Cyberpunk2077 is badly designed to lack reward for non-payed content, and that Gwent(which is a TCG for fuck sake) is badly balanced with new releases. But calling that malicious is like saying Konami are purposely ruining the balance in Yu-Gi-Oh rather than just bad design decisions. You have a fairly serious emotional issue here if your this mindlessly malicious against CDPR.

Mastyer-kenobi, weren't you participating in the Hitman Lame of the Year release topic and decrying DRM there? Design decisions can be both bad and anti-consumer. In fact I would say there is quite the overlap. I think it is quite bad that on what was a DRM-free store, the company previously known for DRM-free release a flagship game with content locked behind a client requirement (i.e. DRM).

There's a big difference with respect to scale, but CDP crossed over the line that separates minor corporate malfeasance from conduct that is potentially criminal. Fraudulent marketing is evil, as far as I'm concerned.

Cyberpunks AI is better than GTA 1 and the London 1969 expansion pack.

At least Cyberpunk 2077 didn't get patches with EOS and always-online requirement for a single-player game, like say Steam-version of TR 2013, Rise of the TR, and Shadow of the TR did last night.

(Side note - Yes, I know, the TR patches were pulled...for now).

Cyberpunk didn’t have any AI, unless occasional randomly ducking bystanders counts as AI now. Otherwise it’s just billboards moving in one direction, and police that appear behind you.

Already has online requirement for certain content and piggyback maps. They were building it as a multiplayer/microtransaction market, and it was only the botched release that stopped that, so don’t be suprised!
