I`ve posted this some time ago here. Some lobbygroups in brussel are trying to change net neutrality and the rules the internet works in the EU. To make it short to change the rules in favor of big companies.

Try saving it to the cloud, that's where everybody is keeping their stuff nowadays. Plenty of space there.

Picture me wearing my surprised face.

(and nothing else if that helps)

This is the way the world works, the internet has never really been neutral - you can't get internet in places in the UK without paying for a line from BT - that is a monopoly, anything done about it, nope.

Skynet will happen, it is inevitable.

You should save internet without pr0n, that would fit on a couple of CDs:)

:)
People are making jokes, but this is actually a really big deal. Imagine if for instance we could only download games from GOG.com at 100k/s, while Steam had unlimited speed. GOG.com would effectively die. That is ultimately what is at stake.
A neutral internet is not at all a safe space. The internet must be curated so only safe sites are accessible.

And who defines what sites are safe? In europe the general state of government has become so bad that you cannot longer trust the government.
You are not getting my point. If the rules how data is treated are changed, smaller sites will vanish, because only bigger companies/sites can afford the prime internet. This new set of rules will bring a two class system to the internet: premium and garbage.
Whenever the government would or will tell me "This is for your safety" My initial thoughts are "Fuck you!" and "How they gonna screw me this time?"
When I go to internet sites that critizies government and corporatians and report on corruption I get sometimes notices that the site is "not safe". What a bunch of bullshit

The /s usually denotes "end sarcasm", indicating that the post's contents are sarcastic. Read his post again with that in mind.

I agree, my post was sarcasm, hence the ''/s''.

A master of the art of sarcasm does not need gimmicks like "/s". Please, either devote yourself and train train train or give up. Sarcasmateurs are irritating.

How do I know you're not being sarcastic right now?
