Yes. And yet I don't think I've never seen it being a problem in other episodes before. His flawes only showed up when the plot demanded it, so he can overcome them and keep being the perfect hero.

Like I said- sense of humor is very subjective.

Thats not a character arc. That's an origin story. That's not a character changing throught the show, that's an introduction of the character.


Mind you, I'm not saying it's a bad show, and I never did. I just gave some reasons why I don't like it quite as much as it's many fans.

Never saw Samurai Jack, but I might try this series when it comes out.

From the mainstream studio controlled "Hotel Transylvania" movies some folks might think that Genndy mostly uses sight gags for comedy but here is a really good example of some clever use of humor in Samurai Jack. :)

Gotta get back, back to the past.... Hopefully they give us a good ending. I love this show.

What about all the other shows they cancelled? There's Symbionic Titan (also by Genndy). I also really liked Megas XLR (which was freaking amazing until they decided to simply stop).

It's a nice dose of nostalgia for the fans, but I highly doubt the network was anything like it was almost a decade ago. Those days are long gone.

Probably Greg Baldwin who replaced him in the final season of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. He actually did voice Aku in the FusionFall video game (and his Mako impression is really spot-on).
