UPDATE: Hey, still considering what you should get from this fascinating lineup? Well, you'd better hurry - they're going away on Monday!
Here are a couple more greats that our friends at PC Gamer really liked:

There's something sinister but strangely alluring hidden below the surface - every traveler of the Sunless Sea knows it. At least those who survive long enough to discover the dark tales its natives have to tell.

Bulging muscles and square jaws look way better covered in blood. We know it, you know it, the Broforce knows it. All that's standing in their way to it are legions of hapless terrorists and plenty of fully destructible environments. Easy.

But also:
- Spelunky got a rather <span class="bold">glowing 96/100 score</span> praising its challenging but rewarding platforming.
- Samorost 3 was described as "<span class="bold">a warm and joyful adventure through a magical world</span>".
- Legend of Grimrock was hailed as "<span class="bold">a very devoted homage that nevertheless brings back a golden era</span>".
- Satellite Reign left them <span class="bold">entranced</span> thanks to its rain-soaked cyberpunk city and solid squad-based combat.

Gaming is awesome regardless of platform but we'll admit to having a soft spot for PC gaming. Our friends over at <span class="bold">PC Gamer</span> feel much the same way, what with their in-depth coverage of PC games, hardware, peripherals, and pretty much everything there is to know about our all-purpose machine buddies. So it's no coincidence that they went through our store catalog and came up with their <span class="bold">PC Gamer Picks</span> to help us spread the love!

Beating FTL's unpredictable challenges while drifting through the randomly-generated space will take much more than wishful thinking. There are strategic decisions to make, alien technologies to assimilate, and bitter deaths to shrug off. Spoiler alert: it's totally worth it.

Is Her Story reliable? Some of the details are rather sketchy and her behavior seems...odd at best. Watch as many clips as possible and make up your mind on what really happened but don't let her considerable acting skills throw you off.

As always, there's more – including Sunless Sea, Towerfall Ascension, Broken Age, Hotline Miami, Samorost 3, and many other gems!

The <span class="bold">PC Gamer Picks</span> sale will last until April 10, 4PM UTC.

SpiderFighter: I have to agree with the dissenters this week...not a single game here I want, and almost zero good old games.

Next time you guys do a PC Gamer Best Of list, maybe pick one from the 90s? :)

Projectsonic: A really cool thing would be to have a mini-series of discounts (like oh say, one each month), where a Best Of list for a certain year is put on sale. Not just PC Gamer could be featured here, other (mostly gone) magazines too.

Yawn. I know GOG's library is way smaller than Steam's even if you exclude the shovelware, but the sales are few and inconsistent. Four days of nothing but maybe 25 discounts, some of which were last week as well? I've dropped Steam because they've done nothing but get worse the past few years, but GOG isn't doing much to retain my interest.

I don't know how much of that blame can be put at GoG's feet. If publishers flat out refuse to release here, there is little GoG can do.

TentacleMayor: Half of the banner is Double Fine games
avatar
muntdefems: Yeah, 3 out of 44 to be precise (46 if we count the Tomb Raider games separately).

Dude, I get that many people are resentful of DF and will seize every oportunity to bash on them, but at least you could have used a little less far from the truth excuse. xD
I think they were talking about the promo picture on the frontpage, which shows Psychonauts and Broken Age besides Hotline Miami 2 and Jotun (?).

Painted_Doll: I was expecting another weekly deal beside this . Or sshould i expect a PewDiePie's / Jim Sterling's favourites promo on the next week ?
avatar
OraEtLabora: Midweek or later there should be another parallel promo. Hope I'm not wrong.

mechmouse: Looks like someone didn't get the memo that Steam isn't the only Digital Distribution platform

http://www.pcgamer.com/yooka-laylee-review/

No GoG link.... not surprising given the Author writes "5 Steam games you might have missed"
Well, 99% of all PC gaming magazines, YouTube and Twitch gaming channels are the same, ... only Steam exists.

People who defend them usually argue 'it's impactical for them to name every seller of a particular game'.

The point is, they don't need to name every other seller, just Steam and the one other place that offers a DRM-free version, which is typically one of three places: GOG, HumbleStore, and the Developers' own website. That's not a significant amount of work for gaming journalist or YouTube/Twitch gamer.

Yeaaah... that makes more sense. My apologies to TentacleMayor then, I misundertood their message.

Random_Coffee: Pathologic looks nice.. and I like weird stuff :P Is it worth a grab?
avatar
Hicks233: Oh yes...
Though I'm really tempted by the great discount I remain slightly hesitant due to the fact that the reimagined Pathologic is scheduled for release this very year.

By the way GOG, could you possibly make the demo ('The Marble Nest') available here as well?:
http://ice-pick.com/en/come-little-birds-for-free/

I don't mind that it 'is generally in pre-alpha state'.

Admittedly I keep getting confused by the format of weekly deals but is there anything new on it today? The event post seems to have been bumped just by the update on the first line.

That's exactly what I was wondering!

Yep. Looks like exactly the same list of games we've got here since Monday.
Nope. No new games were added.
Thanks, thought maybe I was missing something.
