justanoldgamer: BTW what exactly is the Language Selection Hotfix in SR2? I'm going to play in English do I need it?
You don't need it. I tried to run it after installing the game and was notified that the update had already been applied (I have no idea what it was supposed to fix).

Interestingly, the desktop shortcut created when you install the game completely ignores the choice you make afterwards in the language setup. I had to copy and use the shortcut from within the game folder itself before it stopped displaying the opening menu in Danish.

Grargar: Refresh your account by clicking the link below and see if GOG Connect recognizes your games afterwards:

Tex_Venture: Worked for me, I was having issues with it not seeing me have Gat Out of Hell.

After clicking that, then clicking "refresh" on the GOG Connect page it worked.
Still nothing. It seems I have an unredeemed Saint's Row 2 code in my order history, that I can't redeem because I already had the game on GOG; but I can't seem to get Saint's Row 3 or 4 to show up on Connect =\
Is the multiplayer and performance problems finally fixed
GOG's generosity never ceases to amaze me. Another free game. Very grateful. Thank you!
To everyone who has trouble with games not showing up on Connect properly, please make sure to write to Support before the offer on GOG Connect ends :)
You guys are awesome!

No Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell - Devil's Workshop Pack DLC for Connect?

The API that GOG connects to doesn't expose DLC.

Ah. Didn't know that, thanks.

They should have discounted it then, for the sake of completion. It's just 1 weapon and 1 skin, hard to justify the $2 when there are entire games on sale for $2 right now...
Would someone please respond to my question?
When I try to launch the game it immediately crashes and I after launching Visual Studio Just In Time Debugger I get the following error report:

"Unhandled exception at 0x00CDEAEC in SR2_pc.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x0000003C."

What could be causing this, and more importantly, how to solve this problem?
Just in case someone missed the giveaway:

First, make sure you don't have the game installed in a semi-protected location like one of the "Program Files" folders (the GOG installer's default location should be fine).

Beyond that, ask GOG Support for help. (You could also try making your own question topic for this in the Saints Row forum, where it will be more visible than a single post buried in a several-pages-long promo thread.)
