Just a technical, but the parent company is CD Projekt, which created both and CD Projekt Red (team responsible for developing games) and GOG (store) as 2 separate entities. A lot of people make the wrong association that CD Projekt Red = the entirety of CD Projekt.

Their only direct affiliation is being under the same parent group. But I doubt people working at either GOG or CDPR Red "double dip" so to speak. For detailed info, this is probably the best source:
