So... I bought the Wrath of Ashardalon D&D board game today, unpacked it, read the rules, and, since among the various scenarios to play is also a single player adventure, I played that to learn how to play it and see what it's like. And then I realised that I spent Valentine's playing a D&D board game. Alone.

And the saddest part? It was fun :D The game is fun, with all the miniatures and the dungeon tiles it has that old-school D&D feel despite being a much faster and more accesible game, and it was just plain fun to explore the dungeon, roll my d20 and kill some kobolds.

So, is that the ultimate "forever alone" scenario, or does anyone have me beat?
If it was fun, it wasn't the saddest :P

You could've been playing Huniepop, that would've probably been worse. :p
I am spending valentine's day playing alone project Zomboid, where I am the only survivor in the world. >:D
Hanging out on the GOG forum . . .

;-p
This made me realize I completely forgot about Valentine's Day happening. Listening to Blue Oyster Cult's Flaming Telepaths right that moment, at the end they're singing "And the joke's on you!". WTF?
Jerk off

Eat a frozen pizza

Watch some Pro Wrestling

That's my plans for the night.

Well, might still be better than liquid pizza. My friend once made one at a party- put a frozen pizza into a microwave oven, got drunk, forgot about it, found it when it was pretty much liquid. Ate it out of a bowl. Claimed it tasted fine, but I was not exactly convinced...

I only meant it jokingly, in that way that playing D&D is, or at least used to be, considered "sad" enough by some, so playing it alone on Valentine's day would probably be considered even worse.

I wasn't that hungry so I had a bowl of soup instead.

Lol, I understood that, mine was just a positive reply :P

Could've been worse, you could have been playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Makes playing Dungeons & Dragons by yourself seem extremely cool in comparison.
Reading this thread (and amused by the responses).

Who cares about shit like Valentine's day anyway, it's commercialized nonsense.
