Even if it is, or was... The more an "organism" is exposed to a "pathogen", the more it slowly gains resistance against it, over time. The media have made lots of people angry. People nowadays aren't stupid, they have the internet, they have alternative sources of information, they can compare, contrast and judge for themselves without any sort of mediator, much less of a moderator (to censor things out, cut things off, punish opposing voices, etc), needed at all.

Many people believe for some unfathomable reason (why is that i wonder?), that most, if not all, "conventional" media are corrupt, "bought", or serving certain agendas and political interests. Thankfully, the age of Television is by a long mile over, the age of Internet is now on! Censoring things, trimming things, making things politically correct, currently, is pretty much next to impossible, that is why *some* people are nervous, angry, anxious and in a big hurry to control Internet soon, with laws, regulations, surveillance and ultimately, what comes naturally after the aforementioned things happen, totalitarian control.

Problem is not something being a bullshit; problem is HOW it is SERVED and by WHOM, before an audience, at any given time. The most impossible of deranged lies can be accepted readily as truth, while the most real of truths, can be dismissed as "lunatic rantings". No small effort is spent in RIDICULING certain opinions and the people who voice them; ridiculing is one of the most usual weapons of the "system" against opinions (or even facts in certain cases) it doesn't want expressed, much less before the public. Changing target/topic and using decoys, is another great tactic, as well... Obummer shouting about the emails leaking, while actually, he should carefully inspect what the hell was actually written inside them! No need thankfully, though, since the people who read them already, knew what had to do after reading them, anyway!

Finally, there are those who do the right thing for the wrong reasons, yet however unorthodox this might be, it is actually a lifesaver! People, usually natives, are being abused, exploited and pushed to the brink; it is only natural for them to start hating, searching either for the real causes behind that or merely something to throw heat on. Yet, as they say, in war, everything goes. If you can beat an enemy by using the very same means, someone shouldn't be ashamed in doing just that... The people's general good is more important and it should be defended at all costs.
