My best wishes to the Runic team.
While I never bought any of their games, I thought it was a very customer friendly move to provide a demo and added the option to play Torchlight 2 over LAN. Especially at a time when Diablo 3 had neither of those things and just introduced colossal BS like an auction house where players spend real money. "In a statement, Perfect World said that it will continue to sell Runic's games [...]" (Source)
So you don't have to pawn your watch in a hurry. In my personal experience, Perfect World like money, even if they are not too fond of people. Selling Runic's games comes at no added cost to them, so they will be selling them at the very least till Windows 12 comes out.
