3 was the last one I played where I felt really engaged by it overall. I never bothered with the "do nothing" aimlessness that usually comes with the territory as far as these open world games go. I was more hooked on the story of 3.

Story wise I loved Vice City and GTA 4 most I think. GTA 5 annoyed me a lot because I hated everything about Trevor and it was like nails on a chalkboard when he was around.

I guess that's the power of the GTA series (and similar), it caters to different kind of gameplay styles, both for people like me who want a more organized "campaign" with missions, and those who just want to run around randomly in a sandbox setting.
That is why I am not really interested in e.g. Minecraft because, from what I can tell, there is no real objective or goal in the game, and also I never play skirmish matches against the computer AI in RTS games, but always want a proper single-player campaign with missions in my RTS games.
The obvious question: does this freebie miss some must-have (single-player) DLC?

I might consider getting it, if they pay me to play it.

Oh ok, so it isn't yet available, but in about 4 hours? I rushed there for nothing...
I don't understand why the Epic client requires the 2FA code each and every time I run the client. Yes the "Remember me" box is checked. Bah, clients...
