I think the only thing that can be done is to file a complaint that the product is broken, or rather product doesn't meet the seller's description (ie in playable condition).
*wait on a comment from tinyE* :P

+1. It might be useful to take a picture and send it to the seller with a request for refund. If he does not agree, opening a complain is the way to go.
If the product was paid with Paypal, the OP would have a good chance to get a refund imho.

JMich: Nah, that's reserved for the AIs among us ;)

apehater: stating that ai's are racist is cyber racism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe the term you want is cyberphobic. Now all the AI's have been triggered and need to find a safe space. Maybe they can call it Skynet.

darthspudius: I am curious to know if you can make a complaint via email about a seller being a twat?

Bought a 2xCD album, it came in a single disc case. Both CD's rubbed each other to the point of not playing. So I asked the seller if he knew about it and I got nothing but patronising insults.
Mail him anthrax.

omega64: Wouldn't Twitter or Youtube be better if that's what you're looking for?
avatar
Habanerose: Maybe OP should just visit the Steam Forums... all of the aforementioned plus a bunch of lazy "yo momma"-jokes and agry teenagers for free. :P
Yo momma is an angry teenager.

What is wrong with Anthrax? They're a great band! :P

(but sorry for your unlucky purchase)
Haha, it is not for me personally. I can live with it. But I can imagine if he tries the same thing with someone a little more sensitive. They might not take it well. I eventually found the ability to contact the company who forced him to give me my money back and to keep the item.

darthspudius: And childish?

This cracked me up lmao.

Have you tried repairing the CDs? Or at least using the "banana peel" trick? You might be able to image them or rip them if it's music. It won't last but if you have the stuff off of them then at least you have something.

I cleaned them up good, they do work. But it wouldn't take much to permanently fuck them up. A bit of a shame to ruin a Yes album. >_<

Wouldn't ripping them also kind of defeat the purpose of buying a physical copy?
