The game originally came out for the Amiga and Atari ST. I guess these are (literally) the original ROMs.
In case anyone is wondering how you can get multi-disk Amiga games to run with PUAE, it's easy.
You simply create a .m3u file, for example AnotherWorld.m3u with the following content:
AnotherWorld_DiskA_nologo_noprotec.adf
AnotherWorld_DiskB_nologo_noprotec.adf
Make sure it's right next to the two disk files and PUAE will pick it up automatically and mount the two disks.
Enjoy!
neumi5694: With the latest update for Another World 20th anniversary edition, the Amiga disk images for the original game were added, downloadable in the Extras section.
As expected, it works just fine. Will add it to the list above, thanks again. In case anyone is wondering how you can get multi-disk Amiga games to run with PUAE, it's easy.

The m3u support sounds nice, have to check it out. You simply create a .m3u file, for example AnotherWorld.m3u with the following content:
I usually use FS-UAE for playing, also got a MiniA500 and a ARmiga and just added a HDMI port to a original A500 :) But I'm still waiting for a controller chip for my USB drive, so I can write my own disks.
Have to work out how the emulation works on the Evercade. Some of the games would work well on a Handheld.

A Boy and His Blob: Retro Collection just got released and it contains both US and JP GameBoy and NES roms readily available in the game's install directory. If only other retro packs were that convenient...

Seems like we got a free update with new games on the Atari 50th Anniversary Pack, which is nice. I'll update the list of included Atari games above.
P.S.: They're included in the offline installer as well now.

M3troid: I suspect there is a rom in the files of Gargoyles Remastered, most likely in ATD_win32.mdf, but i couldn't open the archive to confirm.
Someone had a look recently and I was curious to see if that "ROM dump" is anything worthwhile. It seems to be a partial dump at best. I may be wrong, but I think they dumped and kept all the assets they needed for the Remaster's retro mode, but not the full ROM, unfortunately.Post edited December 06, 2023 by WinterSnowfall

The Phantasie Memorial Set includes an emulated Apple II version of PHANTASIE II. Luckily PHANT2A.DSK and PHANT2B.DSK are directly accessible as part of the package.

Unfortunately, it looks like the latest batch release of emulated SNK games do NOT contain the ROM files in their original format. There is some ROM data there, but at this point I'm unsure if it can be used to recreate the original ROM files for any of the games.
I'll keep you posted if a solution is found.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Realms of Antiquity includes disk images and a cartridge image that can be used in a third-party emulator. In fact, the developer, I believe, has even given instructions on running the game with MAME, and many other TI-99/4A emulators should work.

WinterSnowfall: Well sure, but the entire point of this thread at least is to see which games offer the ability to either get hold of or reconstruct original or emulator compatible ROMs. To that end the new releases fall short. It has nothing to do with the fact that the emulation is already great for people on Windows, but to those who need original ROMs for one reason or another it's a bit of a bummer. (I think you're mixing up RoA with the recent SNK releases; they're not the same release.)

Indeed. Actually, I thought "Realms of Antiquity" was one of the many ROM sites that are around. Shows you how much I use them :P. Anyway, understood your point now, so nevermind. I'll keep RoA in mind to add it to the list, thanks.

Looks like Magician Lord was dropped with only a Windows downloader. Does that mean there's no options?
