Do you think the roms for Roland MT-32 will ever get released publicly, without charge, by the owners, so that GOG will legally be able to include them in ScummVM/Dosbox games that support it?

Don't you mean a bios file or perhaps the instrumentation file?

Well, the torrent I got them from listed them as roms, but yeah those things.

The instrumentation file that you'd have to get for every single game that used the MT-32 chipset and therefore isn't entirely up to Roland to regulate/care about?

AFAIK thare are more versions of MT-32 ROMs but you just need any of them to get most of games working.
