Thanks for the link. It looks like a beautiful game, but if anything too similar to Riven - almost like a copy. If I'm going to be constanly reminded of another game while playing, I'd rather just play the original.

Having played Riven so many times I know it like the back of my hand, the prospect of "more Riven" is rather appealing. It seems like it has a distinct story and setting, it's just the bright blue oceans that make me think of Riven.
A remake from scratch, or more of a remaster? Because Riven's visuals still look amazing today. The only problem is the low resolution. Would be awesome if they still have the old assets so they could make a true HD version.

I believe they don't have them and have had to reconstruct the game from scratch. This is building on the back of the fan project that was known as the Starry Expanse.
