awalterj: 2016 has already taken a lot of good people. About time it takes some bad ones, too.
2016 did take out Janet Reno (the murderer of Waco, Texas) so that's one more for the list of bad people removed.

By the way, it would be too funny if she really said the following quote.

RIP David Hamilton, yes.

Castro... Good riddance! Countless cubans who were fortunate enough to escape his tyranny and the dictatorship's induced degradation/poverty, went out to the streets to celebrate! Besides, the real hero, plus your typical victim, was Ernesto (Che) and not, Fidel. One sacrificed his life for the people, the other one leeched the lives of said people mercilessly off, till his deep 90s. Real fascists do it right, keep it tight, fly "red"; exactly like a vampyr!

It would most definitely be funny. It would also be funny if the people who threatened to move to Canada in case of a Trump win ever had any intentions of making good on their word but in the off-case they actually did it seems like Canada is doing the "Euro snobs gone gaga" thing and only wants to let in people from a premium selection of fine 3rd world countries so there goes that idea.

morolf: Why not?
Well, I find the whole comparison quite moronic to be honest. Sure you can compare any two men, but from where I'm standing the two are as different as they can be. Other than being military men who seized power in their country, the circumstances and behaviour are pretty much as different as they can be: regime they rose against, international support they had, ideals, media atention, age they lived in...

And if you "sort of might understand" why Franco ended up doing what he did, you sir have a serious problem.
