I'm going to be starting a series where I look at older games (10+ years) and review them from an angle of whether they're still worth playing. People tend to look at older games through nostalgia goggles, which can make recommendations hit and miss for people who haven't played those games before.

GOG is obviously a great repository for older games, so I'll be using many of the titles in my collection for this. There's plenty of games that I don't own however, so I'd like to see what games people are interested in seeing reviewed. I'm not just looking for PC games - I'm going to look at plenty of stuff on things like the SNES - so recommend away. :)

I'm all in favour of quirky FMV games to be reviewed ;)

Fun suggestion, do you have any suggestions? I think Gabriel Knight falls under this category, and I've also got the Red Alert series.

Since it should be fun to play them for you too it would be helpful to know what genres you like - and what type of games you dislike.
Makes no sense to review games you hate from the start because they're really not up your alley.

Tender loving care, I want to know if it's really as perverse as was claimed back in the 1990s.

I cast a wide net. I generally don't like sports, racing, and rhythm/dance games, but there have been exceptions to all of these.

Oh god, I've never played it but I have witnessed it. Think Plumbers Don't Wear Ties mixed with soap opera smut

Is the GOG version censored?
A "verified purchase" checkbox so I know the review isn't just frothing from nostalgia; a lot of games do not age well, and your memories from having played Zoo Tycoon when it was new do not account for changes to this day.

I think you may have misunderstood the purpose of this thread. I'd suggest reading beyond the title in future.

Noctropolis. Fun and worth finishing it to the very end.
